All 2026 Golfers, Guests and Volunteers,

For the first time in our 35 year history, we are forced to postpone. Unfortunately, given the current condition of the golf course, Onwentsia simply cannot allow play today. We understand how disappointing and disruptive a postponement is, but the conditions leave us with no reasonable alternative.

In the interest of brevity, we have an alternative date set for Monday, August 24, 2026 and will have more information later today. In the meantime, we still have food from some of the best restaurants in Chicago showing up at Onwentsia. OI will not take the day off, and neither will we. Please come by Onwentsia at noon and enjoy delicious food, connect and yes, even donate. Our mission continues.

Most importantly, please accept my sincere and heartfelt apology. The work we do is so important and you are the only way this happens. For our donors who coordinate for other golfers, please be sure to reach out to your colleagues, as we do not have everyone’s email. We will be there at 10AM just as before to make sure people are there to greet you.
